Cellcrypt
appoints new CEO
Simon Bransfield-Garth, ex-Symbian marketing head, takes lead role at voice encryption specialist

Cellcrypt, a leading supplier of voice security solutions, has appointed Simon Bransfield-Garth as its Chief Executive Officer. Bransfield-Garth will be accelerating the expansion of Cellcrypt’s business based on its innovative voice encryption technologies aimed at securing sensitive voice communication for enterprises and governments.

Bransfield-Garth has a wealth of international business and management experience from a career that spans over 20 years with technology based companies. Much of his experience is in the mobile communications industry and he was VP of Global Marketing at Symbian and more recently, managing director for Europe and Chief Marketing Officer at CarrierIQ, the leading provider of service intelligence solutions to mobile carriers.

“Simon joins us at a very exciting time. His in-depth knowledge of the industry and experience of working with major OEMs and taking leading-edge technologies to market will play a major role in our next phase of growth,” said Richard Greco, chairman of Cellcrypt.

“It’s a tremendously exciting time to be joining the team at Cellcrypt. While businesses, governments and individuals go to great lengths to protect their valuable data, sensitive voice communication over fixed or mobile IP networks is often ignored,” said Bransfield-Garth. “There is huge potential for Cellcrypt’s advanced voice encryption technologies, delivering a high quality secure voice service to government and corporate markets world-wide. With the increasing awareness of the issues, now is the time to extend Cellcrypt’s position at the forefront of this emerging market.”

Bransfield-Garth has a PhD from Cambridge University and is also a Chartered Engineer, Marketer and Director. His career began as founder and Managing Director of Myriad Solutions (later acquired by Synoptics), a manufacturer of high performance embedded vector processing and parallel computer products for OEM sale. He was also General Manager at PI Technology Inc, that focused on real-time safety-critical embedded software for the automotive industry.
